Below are the statuses for all of the sci fi and fantasy shows from the current season along with the Cancellation/Renewal Score. The statuses that will be tracked are Cancelled, Ending, On the Bubble, Renewal Possible, Renewed, Returning, and Upcoming (see below for definitions). In addition, a Cancellation/Renewal Score will be tracked that compares the cancelled/ending shows vs. the shows that have been renewed so far. The shows tracked with this metric are the ones that have premiered as well as those that we know will premiere this season and have had their final year announced or have been renewed in advance. Genre entries designated as a mini-series will not be included in the tally. This score will provide a quick and easy way to track how genre entries are performing throughout the season. On the Bubble: A show that has a 50/50 chance of returning or less based on current estimates.
Renewal Possible: A show that appears to be headed to another season or that currently has no evidence to suggest that it is in danger of cancellation.
Renewed: A show that has been renewed in the current season.
Returning: A show that is returning for a new season and that has a premiere window set for the current year.
Upcoming: A new show that has a premiere window for the current season.
