Why Was It Cancelled? According to data from Luminate, this series drew an estimated 1.1 billion minutes of viewing for its premiere week of December 26th to January 1st, getting it off to a strong start. Nielsen had it at an estimated 373 million minutes for the week of December 29th to January 4th, but that was for the U.S. audience only, and it dropped out of the charts the next week. For Peacock, which has between 36 and 41 million subscribers vs. over 200 million for Amazon’s Prime Video and over 300 million for Netflix, those are pretty good viewership numbers, and the cancellation comes as somewhat of a surprise. Showrunner Thomas Brandon had plans to continue the story to a second season, but that will not be happening at Peacock. The streamer did not give a reason for ending the series, and there has been no comment from the creative team at this point, but fans should certainly make some noise on the social networks to see if another venue might be interested in picking this one up.
