Sci Fi TV Listings for the Week of November 21st: 3% Debuts on Netflix, Plus Holiday Preemptions

3-percent-netflixWe have one more Fall debut this week as Netflix’s Brazilian-made (subtitled in America) dystopian series 3% has its bow on Friday with all eight episodes available for streaming. Apart from that, we will be seeing a lot of preemptions this week, especially Wednesday through Friday, due to the Thanksgiving holiday. And then after that, a lot of shows will be having their mid-season finales over the next few weeks as we head into the Winter hiatus. Already on hiatus is NBC’s The Good Place which returns in January, and FX’s American Horror Story wrapped up its sixth season last week as it only had ten episodes for this season (I though it was going for thirteen). And before you know it, mid-season will be upon us (you can get a preliminary look at that schedule at this link). We also have a few more late Fall debuts ahead of us (you can see that schedule at this link), and next week brings the big-crossover across all four of The CW’s superhero shows. So there is plenty of sci fi & fantasy to watch, and you will get a short chance to catch up on your DVR queue during the hiatus just before the beginning of 2017.
