ABC’s Agents of SHIELD has seen its ratings drop this season, especially after its return from a two and a half month Winter hiatus. But it has kept a little ahead of that ratings slump that has hit the broadcast networks of late because the show has been able to sneak into the lower rungs of the Top 25 the past few weeks. For the week of April 13th thru 19th, AoS was at the Number 25 slot in the chart based on the overnight ratings in the 18-49 demo. It has been on again / off again in that chart since its return in March, but it has been a regular on the chart based on the Live+3 delayed viewing numbers (meaning that the episode was watched on DVR within three days of the live broadcast). For the week of April 6th thru 12th, Agents of SHIELD was at the Number 23 slot. So even though the show’s numbers have not looked great, it’s a little bit ahead of the curve when you factor in the ratings slump and its chances for renewal continue to look decent at this point. The rest of the charts had most of the usual suspects, though the General Sentiment charts which track social network activity relating to the live broadcast of a show were not available as of this writing. If I see those numbers in the next day or two, I will update them below.
