Prime Time Sci Fi TV: The Last Man on Earth Doubles Up While Some CW Shows Go Back into Repeats

New or notable science fiction and fantasy entries on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.

last-man-on-earth-fox-cancelledThis week, FOX’s The Last Man on Earth will stretch out to a full hour and it looks like it will be the same for next week as well.  Not certain if the network is trying to cram in all the show’s episodes before season end or just using it to pad out the night because they don’t have enough new eps for their animated entries.  Meanwhile, The CW is putting two of its genre shows in repeats again: The Originals and Vampire Diaries.  It looks like both of those have a couple of weeks of encore eps before before hitting the home stretch to their season finales.  And the other CW genre entries with the exception of iZombie look like they have more repeats coming up before they wrap up their seasons.  Other than that, it is pretty much business as usual, though next week will be time to buckle up for the season finale of The Walking Dead.
