Sci Fi TV Pulse: Will You be Watching the Premiere of 12 Monkeys or the Returns of Helix, Grimm, and Constantine This Week?

By | January 11, 2015

haven-syfy-cancelledThis weekly poll is a way to gauge engagement among sci fi fans relating to the genre TV shows airing for the current 2014-15 season.  The poll only includes shows from this season that have had their debuts or that will be premiering during the current week.  Please vote each week on which shows you are watching and also feel free to add comments about these shows below.  We will be compiling this information throughout the season and sending the statistics to the television network so that they can see which shows have generated the most engagement from the sci fi audience.

Comments:  Kudos to Haven fans for pulling out a win for their show last week.  They were active on the social networks to get people to vote and it is a clear sign of their engagement, something that Syfy should be paying attention to (the better rated–and renewed–Z Nation has consistently been at the bottom of this poll).  I will be passing the poll results for last week on to Syfy and will continue to communicate this info to the networks throughout the remainder of the season.  So keep voting each week to show your engagement!

Poll Closed.  Find the latest poll at this link.

HAVEN is my favorite TV show and is #1 on my DVR so that I never miss an episode & can rewatch anytime I need a Haven fix. It is a great escape from my real life 🙂

I WILL be watching 12 Monkeys and the return of Helix, this Friday. Helix had me hooked last season. I hope the new season gets even better. Plus, I have already seen the “first 9 minutes” preview of 12 Monkeys & am eager to see the rest.

i watch all these shows Grimm, The 100, Constantine, Walking Dead, O.U.A.T, Havan, Falling Skies, Vampire Diaries, Originals, Sleepy Hollow, SuperNatural, Rein & I’m sure there are many more I’d like for there’s to be brought back, put on DVDS or have another Station, network or website pick it up! Like Reveloution, Merlin, Star Crossed, NBC’S Dracula, Legend of the Seeker & I’m sure there’s a bunch more I’m forgetting at the moment & even tho True Blood & Dexter was ended there was more that could have been done & their ending could have been better & Epic! They also not realizing that recorders can record up to 5 shows at once, not to mention people watching online!!! They bring out these show not taking into account those of us who do invest our time & end up liking an enjoying these shows to just have them ended poorly or not at all, they need a better way of calculating ratings & viewers, they then need a backup plan in cause a show is cancelled that its continued through DVDs or another channel, website or somebody else picks them up or just give the ones who had been invested get to watch it on DVDs or see an appropriate ending, this bringing out a show & oops ratings are bad poof is nonsense & they need to respect the ones that did watch!!

I really hope that the second season of “Helix” doesn’t go off on some ridiculous tangent of storylines that is sadly the hallmark of so many returning series. And “Z Nation” was so incredibly awful that I can’t believe Syfy actually renewed it.

You’re welcome. 😛 Like I said, Haven has THE most loyal fanbase, despite everything we’ve been put through via the network. We will not give up. I will continue my relentless social media assault just like last week and just like I did after season 3. Come on Haven Family, it’s all about the numbers, both ratings and Twitter Trends. Syfy can’t ignore us forever! -Sarah JAG

Librarians is currently my favorite show on TV. I like the cast and he way they have started to bond together as a unit. The show offers fantasy, adventure, excitement, with just a touch of romance occasionally. The actors involved are talented people who bring excellent drama and a touch of believability to the fantasy.
