Why Was It Cancelled? This werewolf drama arrived on Paramount+ in early 2023, and even though it did not show up in the Nielsen streaming rankings, it was one of the most “in-demand” shows at that time according to Parrot Analytics. The first season ended on a cliffhanger and series star Sarah Michelle Gellar had said concerning a second season that “we have a writers’ room open, and we’re preparing” and that “everybody wants season 2”. But Paramount+ started going through cost-cutting after that which even involved cancelling one of the Star Trek shows (Prodigy) and removing it from streaming. Production on the second season of Wolf Pack was set to start in February 2024, but the streamer has since announced the cancellation, bringing that to a halt. Whether this one will be shopped around to other venues remains to be seen, but I do expect to see a Call to Action from fans on the social networks.
