Description: Beacon 23 follows two people — Headey’s Aster and James’ Halan — whose fates become entangled after they find themselves trapped together at the end of the known universe. Headey’s Aster mysteriously finds her way to a lonely beacon keeper, on his lighthouse in the darkest recesses of space. Status: This show had originally been a joint production by AMC and Spectrum and had been picked up for two seasons, and shooting on the second season was completed before the show was shifted to MGM+ (and also apparently before the strikes) according to an interview with executive producer Glen Mazzara. That will likely air in 2024 and Mazarra has plans for additional seasons beyond that.
