Digital Ratings: Wednesday Passes One Billion Mark, 1899 Enters Nielsen Rankings, and More

Digital Ratings: Viewership results for the sci fi and fantasy shows on the streaming services. See our Cancellation Watch posts for the linear ratings from the broadcast networks and cable shows.

Netflix Top 10:

Wednesday held at the Number One slot in the Netflix Top 10 for English Language shows for the week of December 5th to 11th. It pulled in another 270 million hours of viewing which now has it passing one billion hours over its first three weeks of release. Interestingly, the streamer has not issued a renewal for the show yet, but I expect that to be coming at any time. 1899 slipped to the Number 4 slot with 28 million hours viewed, but it has managed to stay on the charts for four weeks now and I believe it has a decent chance for renewal. Manifest Season 4 slipped to Number 10 with 11 million hours viewed and the second half of its final season will arrive at some point in 2023. The animated series Dragon Age: Absolution had its premiere that week but did not make it into the Top 10.

In the Non-English Language chart, the Turkish dystopian series Hot Skull premieres at the Number 8 slot with 11 million hours viewed while the Korean Anime Lookism scraped the bottom of the charts at Number 10 with 8 million hours viewed. Following are all the sci fi and fantasy TV shows on the Netflix charts for the week (the number in parenthesis is the prior week rank):
