It was released the beginning of April that it received news of renewal. They will be shooting S2 later this month or early June. We just don’t know if it will be a Fall start or a Jan start again… I’m hoping for a Fall start so it can possibly get a full season instead of half season. They have a green light for just 13 episodes so far.

I hope to see this show survive long enough to really find its stride – I’ve been enjoying it so far, the cast seems to have good chemistry, and the writing and direction has been far better than I’d expected.

I too hope FOX gives this show a chance. I find that all networks are pulling the plug far too soon on first season shows 🙁 It’s very annoying when you start watching a new show and really enjoy it and then find out that they cancel it. It happened to me last year with Forever.. It was a great show.. Amazing actors, great writing and had so much more to give us. I swore I wouldn’t watch another first season show unless I knew it was going to get renewed… I just happened to be flipping stations and stopped on Lucifer.. It grabbed my attention the first 30 seconds into it… I missed the pilot so I had to go to CTV online in Canada and watch it and I haven’t missed an episode yet.. LOVE IT!!! All the actors are FANtastic especially Tom Ellis, he does such a brilliant job as Lucifer

I am so tired of the Networks cancelling shows within 3 seconds. What do they base their decisions on, who the heck are they listening too, 4 year olds.
For example, Lucifer – the pace is getting up their, there is a story to unravel, it can go places – yet before I can blink, there is talk of maybe cancelling.

What is the point in getting involved in any TV show anymore, I remember a time it was the one thing that could make you lousy day/life whatever feel that little bit better, particularly in todays climate.

For “Heavens” and “Lucifers” sake – yes a pun on words, lets see where he and and his father take this fight.

It really is a fun show.

I really like F & sf mostly because of special effects and story that takes in occult. Lucifer started strong when his image would appear as a devil
      Now it’s just a detective/romance story yawn.

what happened to DominionI miss it

I don’t watch network shows hardly ever first of all. All the reality show crap that you need the intellect of a 10 year old to enjoy. Then any decent scripted show gets the ax in as little as 1 or 2 episodes, and is lucky to make it one season. I love Lucifer I think it has great potential Tom Ellis is stellar as Lucifer please give it a chance. If this gets cancelled I am not watching any new network programing.Actually basic cable has some of the best scripted shows out there

and they give them a chance to find an audience. I think Lucifer would do very well as a Netflix series if it can’t make it on Fox.

I tried to give Lucifer a fair go but it’s just plain awful. Tom Ellis as Lucifer is annoying and smarmy and a real turn off. The show as a whole is boring and just another by the numbers procedural. I hope it gets cancelled after season 1 so resources can be directed to something better.

I think this is one of the cleverless show i have seen in a long time! Isn t this what we hope and strive for that someone who is evil starts to change when around good!. So lets look at thé big picture shall we! The lord works in mysterious ways

If you have Lucifer showing a good side and changing it will change religion. What religion wants to have people
think Lucifer, the devil is good!! The character is charming, and Love his accent. But isn’t that supposed to be how
Lucifer tricks humans??? Anyway, who was to see a Devil without his wings and immortal powers.??? Show some teeth
in not a too bad way. Anne Rice novel “Memnoch” does show him having conflicts and his origin and intentions
are not really malicious. This is a very confused and confusing character. Please develop it. Not everyone wants
a sweet detective that is influencing someone to be good.
It is very clever but don’t drop it in midstream.

That is why they say he is the thief of the night.
gentle reminder not to let your guard down.
I like it when he gets edgy, and now there is something to the story lines.
It has been an interesting watch Hopefully they do not cancel the show.

I saw episode 9 as the first time for watching Lucifer and ended up spending my weekend marathoning it from the beginning. Tom Ellis is a perfect Lucifer. This show can certainly go places if allowed to grow. Lucifer’s “daddy issues” are hilarious. Lucifer never wanted to please God, he wanted to BE God.

I am a bit disappointed in how his immortality is being taken away so quickly week by week. He’s been on earth 5 years and now his powers are being taken away? He can still learn and grow being around “goodness” or whatever, but he needs to remain Lucifer in order for the show to succeed. Seriously, last night’s episode he gets 3rd degree burns from being in a fire? Heeeellllooooo, he’s supposed to be the devil.

Overall, I love the show and do hope it gets renewed

I love this show, while a far stride from the comic it’s loosely based on – it’s a favorite none the less. The cast has great chemistry and Lucifer is every bit as charming as he should be.

I do hope it’s not cancelled and the plot woven so far gets a chance to develop. I also hope Lucifer is given a bit more bite and a touch of real evil. He after all, the devil. Fingers crossed

I absolutely adore this show. I think he is just delightful. If someone else had played the detective it would have a better chance. She is just TOO cutesie. They need to “uncute” her. They dont have chemistry as he outacts her each episode. That is the problem! I hope it is renewed.

They need to have a character that is opposite him (devil). So “cutsie” seems to match. Mr. Ellis as Lucifer can amazingly
put on this evil face. Wonderful. HE plays the part well, he has that magic that is expected. But now he is sooooo sweet.

This show is awesome! It gets better every week! I actually look forward to Monday’s now, never thought that was possible. The chemistry of the cast is more complex and much more interesting than anything else on TV. I really hope FOX gives this show another season, Tom Ellis is so hot and so good as the devil. I loved Bones for years but enough is enough give another show a chance like Lucifer!

I sincerely hope this show survives. I look forward to watching it weekly. It’s difficult to make me laugh but this series is really funny. Tom Ellis is a most perfect Lucifer and for those who want it cancelled, based on religious reasons, all I can say is they need to go to church and strengthen their faith. Kudos to this cast, you all are awesome! Love the wit, dark humor, and character to character bantering. Keep up the great job!!! Hoping from San Antonio that your series survives, truly enjoy it!

I am Christian and seriously do not take offense to this show. I find it entertaining. I would like it to continue, but if they continue making him human and take away his immortality, it won’t truly be Lucifer.

I also agree with a few posts earlier that the detective and Ellis just don’t match. I don’t think she’s too cutesy, but his “carnal urges” with her without success are boring. Lucifer wouldn’t pine over someone like that. She has no depth.

I really would love to see another season if Jerry Bruckheimer will bring back Lucifer as he truly is. Let him see the evil in the cases they work on. Making him good (as they seem to currently be doing) isn’t sticking with who Lucifer is…comics or bible.

My wife and I were looking forward to seeing this show. It sounded like a good idea at the time. As the episodes progressed our attention level was getting low and the show became just another cop show, boring to say the least. Only difference was that the lead Lucifer turned out to be awkward. You would think that he would have some insight, brains and would deduce situations much better than the show shows. After the second last episode we just stopped watching. We no longer want to waste another hour. To bad though, Tom Ellis fits the part and he is quite a good actor. We were hoping for better special effects. To take an immortal and have Lucifer become mortal is just insane. And what angel would destroy a divine gift of their wings. Please!!!!! We don’t know what Jerry Bruckheimer was thinking as he has done stellar shows in the past.

I love this show! I think Tom Ellis is very good and very sexy! I also enjoy the rest of the cast as well.
I like the fact that week after week Lucifer is becoming more human in his feelings for others.
Please give this show another season. I too, as another viewer commented, that the show Forever after
one season was cancelled which I also enjoyed!

This show isn’t only my favorite new show as its hilarious and he’s you hooked on watching. But it’s also a time when me and my dad both stay up late watching while all the little kids are aslee including his wife! He works all day almost everyday and I work too but when we are both home we watch shows like this and laugh together and have fun. This show is one of his favorites too.id be sad to see the show go not only because I like it but because that’s one less thing me and my dad can do together.

The show needs to be reconfigured to save it. The Devil needs to be immortal again; maybe make Maze mortal instead and when she gets shot in the 1st episode of season 2 you have a ‘To be Continued’ scenario to have folks watch ep#2. He also needs a male buddy to play off of cuz the pseudo romance with the female cop ain’t working. And if nothing else, give the Devil a cell phone. It’s the 21st century, for Christ’s sake. [Pun intended.]

The last episode had more spark .. Pun intended. He should show his true identity and keep the relationships. As a viewer it’s a strain and a little more contrived when he SAYS he is lucifer but won’t reveal ANY of occult nature. How he can keep up this dance is beyond me. The thrill is to see their reactions when they see he is not psychotic and hallucinating Ave have really been with the devil himself.

We LOVE to watch Lucifer and were eagerly awaiting the NEXT episode…… it is a witty and funny show, with underlying messages that point to our morality if you are willing to see them in yourselves….. it is a Very Good show and One of the BEST that I have see on the networks in Years….
    .
The last time that I was hooked on a show like Lucifer, was when Dallas was on…..
    .
I can’t understand WHY Gotham got renewed….. it is a Dark Show… we always changed channels when it came on, looking for something / anything else to watch….. 1 FLUSH should do it for Gotham .
    .
I would like to add that there is “so little” to watch these days on network TV that we seldom watch it except for Local News….. We avoid the “Reality TV Shows” like the PLAGUE …. and Lucifer is a Refreshing show to watch…

My husband and I love the Lucifer TV Series. It is humorous yet serious and romantic at the right times. The characters, in the show, play their roles very well. We truly hope to continue to see this show on the air. There are so few good programs available. Hopefully the powers that be can recognize that they have a winning series and keep it going. New and interesting storylines which grow with the characters, complex but happily ever after endings will keep the shows positive and uplifting. We record all the shows so that we can watch and watch again when we want.
