Description: Happy! is based on New York Times best-selling author Grant Morrison and Darick Robertson’s graphic novel of the same name. The series follows Nick Sax (Christopher Meloni, Law & Order: SVU) – an intoxicated, corrupt ex-cop turned hit man – who is adrift in a world of casual murder, soulless sex and betrayal. Why Was It Cancelled? That show debuted with strong numbers in late 2017, but saw those decline throughout its first year run. Syfy still gave it the greenlight for a second season, but the numbers slipped even further to ratings scraps levels and the network decided to cancel the series. The show’s studio and producers are shopping it around to other venues, and a Call to Action from fans on the social networks could give a boost to those efforts.
