Season 2 Description: Sugar is back in Los Angeles, taking on another missing persons case as he continues to look for answers surrounding his missing sister. Sugar will be tracking the troubled older brother of an up-and-coming local boxer. As the investigation expands into a city-wide conspiracy with sinister intentions, Sugar must reckon with himself to answer the question — how far will he go to do what’s right?

Status: There has been no word on the fate of this series since it wrapped up its second season in August, but its prospects look good. According to Luminate, its Season 2 premiere pulled in 3.8 million views in its first six days, making it the seventh most-watched Apple TV original going back to 2025. That puts it above shows like Silo Season 3, Publius Season 1, and Severance Season 2, all of which have been renewed. So unless viewership dropped off notably during the season (I have not seen those numbers yet), I like this one’s chances of coming back for a third year.
