Why Did It End? This series arrived with very little advanced push in Summer 2025, and it failed to chart in the Netflix Top 10. It is based on the novels by Scott Westerfeld, and it did adapt all three books in the trilogy. I had heard rumors that they may carry on beyond that, but it is not showing up on the 2026 list of releases, nor is it in the development queue, so it appears that Netflix is done with this one. Fans may want to make some noise on the social networks if they want more from this show.
