Why Was it Cancelled? In an interview with LA Times, showrunner and executive producer Erik Oleson said: “I intentionally wrote Season 1 to have an ending that would make it difficult for Amazon not to give Kevin and me more chances to make more episodes”. But that strategy did not work as the streamer cancelled the show after one season. Amazon did very little to promote it, but it still made it into the Nielsen Streaming Rankings for its premiere week, landing at the Number 9 slot with an estimated 563 million minutes watched. That was not sufficient to get it a second season even though this one is likely not that expensive to produce. There is no word at this point on whether the show will be shopped around, but the creative team did have more seasons planned, so perhaps it could switch venues. Fans should definitely make some noise on the social networks to bring this one more attention if they want it to continue beyond its first season.
