Status Updates
Alien: Earth (FX/Hulu, Status: Renewal Possible): This Alien prequel series did not return to the Nielsen Streaming Rankings for the week of its Season 1 finale. It has only spent four of the seven weeks that it released new episodes in the charts which may not be enough to get it a second season. Fans should definitely make some noise to support this one, and I discuss that in more detail at this link.
Gen V (Prime Video, Status: Renewal Possible): This spin-off to The Boys dropped out of the Nielsen charts the second week of its second season. We will have to see how it charts in the coming weeks, but fans may want to start making some noise to bring this one more attention if they want it to continue to a third year.
Marvel Zombies (Disney+, Status: Mini-Series): This animated MCU entry did not make it into the Nielsen Streaming Rankings for the week of its premiere. It was intended as a one-off as are many of the MCU shows these days, though it is possible that they could do another entry in this timeline at some point down the road.
It: Welcome to Derry (HBO, Status: Renewal Possible): The overnight ratings for Sunday are not available yet, so we do not have the early viewing numbers for this show (or Talamasca: The Secret Order). The early buzz on It: Welcome to Derry has been good, and two more seasons are planned, so it could stick around if the viewership justifies it.
