Cancellation Watch: Gotham Knights Improves at The CW, The Ark Rises for Syfy, and More

Cancellation Watch: Ratings results and status updates for the sci fi and fantasy shows on the broadcast networks, cable channels, and streaming services as well as breaking news on the currently airing, returning, and upcoming genre entries.  For the streaming ratings, see our weekly Digital Ratings posts.

Linear Ratings Results of Interest:

On Tuesday of last week, The CW’s Gotham Knights improved to a 0.10 rating based on same-day viewing for the 18-49 demographic with 471K total viewers. That is up from the prior two weeks and it remains one of the most-watched shows on the network this Spring. Its prospects did not look good coming into the season because new owners plan a shakeup of the schedule going into next year, but if the show continues to pull good ratings perhaps it could make the jump over to HBO Max. A Call to Action from fans could boost those chances.

On Monday on NBC, Quantum Leap ticked down to a 0.28 rating in the demo with 2.2 million total viewers. That one has already been renewed for a second season.

On Wednesday on Syfy, The Ark improved to a 0.07 rating with 357K total viewers and fans should be stumping for that one on the social nets if they want it to get a second season. Over on The CW, The Flash improved to a 0.11 rating 518K total viewers. ABC’s Not Dead Yet returned after several weeks off and pulled a 0.31 rating with 2.1 million total viewers.
