Sci Fi TV Highlights: Season Finale for Mayfair Witches, The Expanse heads to comics, and more

There are no premieres this week but AMC’s Mayfair Witches will be wrapping up its first season and it has already been renewed for a second year.  La Brea will go back to airing double episodes this week and that will continue next week when it airs its Season 2 finale.  That one has been renewed for a third season which could be its last.  The Winchesters will have a timeslot shift, moving back to the 8 PM EST hour on Wednesdays.

An Expanse comic book series is in the works that will fill in the gap between the end of the sixth season and the seventh book . . . Netflix has ordered an Anime adaptation of Naoki Urasawa’s manga Pluto which is a reinterpretation of Osamu Tezuka’s Astro Boy and that will arrive later this year . . . Legends of Tomorrow‘s Brandon Routh will be joining in Quantum Leap in a potentially recurring role.
