Sci Fi TV Highlights This Week: Premieres for Night Sky and Love Death + Robots S3, Season Finale for Halo

Sci Fi/Fantasy TV Shows Premiering This Week

Night Sky (Premieres May 20th on Prime Video): Spanning space and time, Night Sky follows Irene (Spacek) and Franklin York (Simmons), a couple who, years ago, discovered a chamber buried in their backyard which inexplicably leads to a strange, deserted planet. They’ve carefully guarded their secret ever since, but when an enigmatic young man (Chai Hansen, The Newsreader) enters their lives, the Yorks’ quiet existence is quickly upended…and the mystifying chamber they thought they knew so well turns out to be much more than they could ever have imagined. Premieres Friday on Amazon.

Love Death + Robots (Premieres May 20th on Netflix): Terrifying creatures, wicked surprises and dark comedy converge in this NSFW anthology of animated stories presented by Tim Miller and David Fincher. All episodes will be available for streaming on Friday.
