Season 1 Description: The 1950s-set COVENANT centers around a Black family who move from North Carolina to an all-white Los Angeles neighborhood during the period known as The Great Migration. Why Was It Cancelled? The second season of this show made a brief appearance in the Nielsen Streaming Rankings and showrunner Little Marvin has indicated that he has plans for a third season. There has been no word on that almost a year and a half after the Season 2 premiere, so I am going to assume this one has been cancelled. Since it is an anthology series, it can always return at some point, but it appears to be done for now.
