Why Was It Cancelled? This show never drew strong viewership for Syfy, but that was in part because the network did very little in the way of promotion. It was originally cancelled after its first season, but that was reversed, and it was brought back for two more years. In its third season, SurrealEstate averaged only a 0.02 rating (two one-hundredths of a ratings point) according to Nielsen based on same-day viewing for the 18-49 demographic. It appears that the network has since decided not to continue the show to a fourth season, as series co-star Elena Juatco put out an Instagram post claiming it has come to an end. However, this one has developed a dedicated following, and it is not that expensive to produce, so perhaps fans could make a Call to Action and convince another venue to pick it up.
