After a year and a half wait, HBO’s Game of Thrones is back for its epic final season (see the trailer below). The first episode of its eighth season will be an hour, but the run time for each ep will start to increase as it head to its season finale (you can see the run times for all six eps at this link). Also this week, the Z Nation prequel series Black Summer has its debut on Netflix on Thursday with all episodes available for streaming that day. There are more premieres on the way as well as season finales through the final two months of the regular season, and you can see the full Spring schedule of sci fi and fantasy shows at this link.
