Sci Fi TV Listings for the Week of August 6th: Fear the Walking Dead Returns, Finales for The 100 and Reverie

Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.

This week, AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead returns from its hiatus with a double-episode starting at 8 PM EST on Sunday.  The Talking Dead also resumes that night after the 10 PM EST episode of Preacher.  On Tuesday, The CW’s The 100 wraps up its fifth season and that one will be returning for a sixth (and possibly final) year in 2019. On Wednesday, NBC’s Reverie wraps up its first season. That one looks like it is headed to cancellation, so that will likely serve as its series finale as well. The Fall season kicks off in a month and you can get a preview of that at this link. You can see the current schedule of sci fi and fantasy shows at this link.

Highlights for the Week of Aug 13
Disenchantment (Netflix) Streaming Friday, Series Premiere

Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
