This week brings two more mid-season premieres and they happen to both be time travel shows and they happen to be airing on the same night. On Sunday, FOX’s time travel comedy Making History has its bow at 8:30 PM EST, taking up the timeslot that Son of Zorn just vacated (that show has wrapped up its first season). And then at 9 PM EST, ABC’s Time After Time, about H.G. Wells chasing Jack the Ripper through time, has its bow. Also on that night, ABC’s Once Upon A Time returns from its Winter hiatus and FOX’s The Last Man on Earth also returns from its long break. So Sunday nights just became very crowded for genre entries and all of these have to face stiff competition from The Walking Dead over on AMC that night (even the repeat of the prior week’s TWD episode that airs at 8 PM has been pulling good numbers).
Wrapping up its linear viewing run this week is Freeform’s Beyond. The entire first season of that show has been available for streaming at the network’s website and on their app. And for Agents of SHIELD fans, that show is on a second hiatus and will resume new episodes on April 4th.
