The long wait for Game of Thrones Season 6 is almost over as that show returns on Sunday (and it will be interesting to see how it and Fear the Walking Dead battle it out in the ratings). Also, this week brings us the debut of Comedy Central’s Time Traveling Bong. Billed as a three-night “event” series which will air Wednesday through Friday, it’s unclear at this point if that is a tryout for an ongoing run. Also bowing this week is the second season of Syfy’s time travel series 12 Monkeys as well as the third season of Hulu’s supernatural comedy Deadbeat which stars Tyler Labine. Wrapping up is CBS entry Supergirl (that one is still awaiting word on whether it will be back for a second season) with plenty more season finales for the 2015-16 shows coming over the next few weeks. But there is plenty more sci fi / fantasy on the way as the Spring shows continue to have their bows (you can see the schedule at this link) and the Summer entries are not far off either.
