The regular season comes to an end this week for the sci fi / fantasy shows as The Flash, iZombie (season finale is June 2nd), and Supernatural have their season finales (that network’s The Messengers doesn’t count as a regular season entry because it started off in its burn-off late-season / Summer run). The Spring / Summer shows that have debuted thus far will air as usual, but there are no more premieres until June, so the next couple of weeks should give a little more opportunity to catch up with what is on your DVR. Because by mid-June the Summer season will be ramping up with a pretty full schedule, and that DVR will likely start filling up again. And take note that the Syfy shows appear to be shifting starting this week. Lost Girl moves to Thursdays at 10 PM which pushes Olympus back to 11 PM and Bitten takes a jump to Fridays at 11 PM. The Lost Girl / Olympus change stays in place the following week as well, so this does appear to be this permanent scheduling adjustment for these shows as they wrap up their current seasons. Also note that Starz‘s Outlander will be a repeat this coming Saturday and will then return for its season finale the following week.
Also note that this week’s schedule of sci fi / fantasy shows goes from Sunday to Sunday. Then starting next week, this post will do a shift of its own and cover Monday thru Sunday going forward to get in line with the industry standard for looking at the TV week.
