The Charts: The Trickster Helps Push The Flash Up in the Social Media Charts

mark-hamill-the-flashIn an otherwise slow week for sci fi / fantasy shows in the charts, The CW’s The Flash saw a bump in a large part because of Mark Hamill’s appearance reprising his role as The Trickster in last week’s episode (he previously played the character in the 1990 series that starred John Wesley Shipp).  The show managed to crack the Nielsen Twitter Ratings Top 10 for the first time since its debut, coming in right at the Number 10 slot.  It also moved up in the General Sentiment charts that track social activity relating to the live broadcast of a show and ranked at Number 3 on that list.  Starz’s Outlander also placed on the General Sentiment charts with its return, coming in at the Number 20 slot.  Apart from that, with plenty of preemptions and repeats last week and with The Walking Dead having wrapped up, there wasn’t much activity on the charts for the week.  But expect Game of Thrones to reign in these charts with its Season 5 premiere when the numbers are tallied next week.

Here is the full look at chart activity for genre shows for the week of March 30th thru April 5th:
