Prime Time Sci Fi TV: iZombie Debuts; The Flash, Arrow, and Supernatural Return from Repeats

New or notable science fiction and fantasy entries on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.

izombie-cw-cancelledThe CW’s mid-season entry iZ0mbie–based on the DC comic of the same name–gets it debut this week in the post The Flash timeslot as that network resumes normal programming after a few weeks of repeats.  The Flash, Arrow, and Supernatural are all back with new episodes this week (Vampire Diaries and The Originals returned last week, though I missed the memo on the latter show).  Supernatural shifts its timeslot to Wednesdays at 9 PM EST as The 100 has already wrapped up its second season (and been renewed for a third).  NBC’s Grimm also returns from several weeks off while Gotham, Person of Interest, and Forever are in repeats.  Also of interest, WGN will run the special Salem: Plague Among Us on Sunday to warm viewers up for Salem‘s Season 2 return next month.
