Prime Time Sci Fi TV: Comic Book Men Returns, Plus a President’s Day Marathon for Helix and 12 Monkeys

New or notable science fiction and fantasy entries on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.

comic-book-men-amc-cancelledKevin Smith’s Comic Book Men returns from its break on Sunday as it resumes new episodes on AMC later in the evening after The Walking Dead and The Talking Dead.  On Monday, Syfy will be doing marathons of both Helix (9 AM to 1 PM) and 12 Monkeys (2 PM to 6 PM) as it runs all of the episodes from both those shows’ current seasons.  On Tuesday, ABC is preempting Forever (just as it was starting to build some momentum) and on Friday NBC is preempting Grimm.  Expect more of that for all the genre shows on the broadcast networks over the next few months as they try to stretch out the current season episode orders to last until May.
