The Charts: A Slow Week With No Cable Genre Shows Cracking the Top 25

Gotham-FOX-CancelledWith all the repeats and preemptions going on and with FX’s The American Horror Story and TNT’s The Librarians having wrapped up their seasons, there was not much activity on the charts for last week. No sci fi cable shows made it to any of the charts for the week and there wasn’t much activity on the broadcast net charts either. Gotham ranked in the Top 25 based on the ratings in the 18-49 demo, but there was nothing on the total viewers chart as Person of Interest was preempted last week. The General Sentiment Top 25 which tracks social network activity for the broadcast network shows went through its usual shuffle, with Agent Carter ranking the highest among genre entries (at the Number 8 slot). Interestingly, The Flash slipped all the way to Number 25 for the week, but with The Originals jumping back on, all of The CW’s genre entries had representation. Expect a complete reshuffle for this chart again when this week’s results are tallied. Most of the same names will be there, just at a different ranking. And next week The Walking Dead will be returning to all the cable charts as it has its mid-season bow on Sunday.
