The Charts: Intelligence Drops Out of the Top 25 as Expected, But Almost Human Manages to Sneak In

New CBS series Intelligence debuted in the broadcast network Top 25 (both for ratings and total viewers) with its inaugural episode, but–as expected–it quickly dropped out for the week of January 13th to 19th as that show has gone on a ratings dive to disaster.  However, another new series managed to climb into the lower rungs of the Top 25 based on the ratings in the 18-49 demo as FOX’s Almost Human took hold of the Number 22 rung.  That is the first time the show has been in the Top 25 since its second episode back in November.  However, the show won’t make it back there for the next two weeks because–as I elaborated on in my latest Cancellation Watch post–the network’s scheduling has it off the air until February 3rd.  Maybe it can pick up where it left off when it returns, but it seems unlikely.  The other usual suspects among the broadcast net genre shows (Sleepy Hollow, Agents of SHIELD, Person of Interest) also continued their tenure in the Top 25 last week (details below).  In the cable Top 25, American Horror Story held steady with last week, coming in at the same rank (17) and with the same number of total viewers (3.5).  That series slipped some in the Nielsen Twitter Rankings, though, as it barely made the Top 10 at the Number 10 slot.  Teen Wolf showed up in those rankings for a second week, though it slipped slightly to the Number 6 slot.
